Klaus Wessel (クラウス・ヴェッセル) is a playable character from the Windjammers series. He is an olympic champion and a representative from Germany.
Features and Analysis[]
Klaus Wessel is a strong-but-slow powerhouse who's all about offensive play. Though he's very slow he compensates that by having one of the best slides in the game, which helps with his mobility. His overall strength also means he receives little recoil from blocked shots; coupled with his slide this also makes him a solid defensive character.

Hitboxes[]
Wessel has a fairly large hitbox but he remains below Biaggi and Miller in the possibilities he has to exploit it. Attention, although extremely rare, the change of hitbox between toss and charge can cause "the Miller bug": after a toss, the character charges but the disc falls aside, giving 2 points to the opponent.
Launch[]
Wessel's physical strength is reflected in his discus throw, which is powerful and therefore fast. In addition, he can wait before throwing without really losing speed, which makes it possible to deceive an opponent who is too impatient. ': Gamest 199, July 1994'
